About Us
SSSTIKTOK is a small, independent web tool that saves publicly shared short videos, photo posts and sounds from a link. No account, no software to install, and the same experience on a phone, a tablet or a laptop.
Why we built it
Saving a clip you liked used to mean screen recording it at poor quality, or installing an app that filled the screen with pop-ups and asked for permissions it did not need. We wanted the opposite: one page, one field, one button, and a real file at the end of it.
The first version was a personal weekend project used by a handful of friends. People kept asking for it, so we cleaned it up, wrote proper guides and put it online for everyone.
How the tool works
You paste the address of a public post. Our server asks the source for the media that the address points to, reads the details such as title, creator and thumbnail, and then offers you the available formats: high quality video, a lighter version, the separate pictures of a photo post, or the sound on its own where the platform provides it.
The file then travels straight to your device. Nothing is uploaded to us, nothing is published by us, and nothing stays on our servers once your request finishes.
What we stand for
- No accounts. A tool this simple has no reason to know your name or your email address.
- No stored media. We are a pipe, not a library.
- Honest interface. One real download button per format, no fake buttons and no pop-ups that hide the page.
- Plain answers. When something cannot be done, we say so instead of pretending.
Respect for creators
Every clip belongs to the person who made it. This tool exists for personal, offline use: watching later on a flight, keeping a copy of your own upload, studying an edit or an effect. It is not a shortcut for reposting other people's work as your own.
We ask everyone to credit creators and to seek permission before reusing anything publicly. Rights holders can reach us through the copyright page, and we act on complete notices.
Privacy by design
There is no profile to build here because there is no sign-up. Our servers keep only the short technical records that any website needs to stay online and to stop automated abuse, and those are deleted after a brief period. The full detail is in our privacy policy.
Independent, not affiliated
We are not part of TikTok or ByteDance Ltd, and no platform sponsors or endorses this project. Platform names appear in our guides only to describe which kind of link the tool accepts.
How the project stays free
Bandwidth and servers cost money, and we would rather show a few advertisements than charge for something people use once a week. That is why you will see clearly marked ad areas around the downloader and inside our guides. There is no paid tier, no subscription and no upsell.
Where we are heading
Our current focus is reliability: faster fetching, better handling of short links, clearer messages when a post simply cannot be reached, and an installed app that still opens when you are offline. Support for more platforms is being tested and will be announced only when it works properly.
Who is behind SSSTIKTOK
SSSTIKTOK is run by Ayub Khan, its founder, from Landhi, Karachi, Pakistan. He built the first version of the downloader as a personal weekend project for friends, and still maintains the tool and answers the email inbox himself.
Questions or corrections reach him directly at contact@ssstiktok.media.
Who writes the guides
Everything in our guides library is written by Ayub Khan, the founder — the same person who builds and maintains the tool. Nothing is bought from a content mill, spun from another site, or published without a person testing the steps first.
Each guide is written after the exact steps have been followed on a real device: an iPhone on the current iOS, an Android phone on Chrome, and both a Windows laptop and a Mac. When a platform changes something, the affected guide is revisited and its update date changed.
Our editorial standards
- We publish the limits, not only the wins. If a post cannot be saved, we say so plainly instead of sending readers to a page that claims otherwise.
- No invented numbers. We do not quote statistics we cannot stand behind, and we do not promise quality a source file does not contain.
- Every guide carries a date. A visible update date lets you judge whether advice still matches the app on your phone.
- Corrections are welcome. If a step no longer works on your device, tell us and the guide gets fixed rather than defended.
Where we are based
SSSTIKTOK is run from Landhi, Karachi, Pakistan (postal code 12345). We are a small independent team rather than a registered media company, and we prefer saying that openly instead of pretending to be a large office somewhere else.
Email reaches us at contact@ssstiktok.media, and that inbox is read by the same people who write the guides.
Talk to us
Ideas from visitors have shaped most of what this tool does today. If something is missing or awkward on your device, or you spot a mistake in a guide, tell us on the contact page. Messages about copyright go to our copyright page, and we reply to complete reports.
